They're saying its muddy so its a violation of warrenty or some such bull... I think Rachel's going to give them an earful tomorrow, but, its always good to have a backup plan. Since nobody's got 2004 parts in stock (except NAPA....possibly..) will the alternator for an 01 or 02 or something work as well?

everywhere I've looked only has alternators for up to 2000 for the 4.0 so I'm guessin that they changed the mounting brackets and they haven't started makin em yet for some reason.
Oh yea also ask them if washing your jeep or driving in the rain would void the warranty because that would make there be moisture in the alternator  GIVE EM HELL

Little does rachel know... the "battery charging" will cost $100 form the stealership
b**** that little pimply headed freak behind the counter out.. Jeep is a BIG corporation they can aafford it trust me... "TRAIL RATED MY ASS" Oh yeah... mention the lemon law to them.. that might get the wheels greased a little not to mention how much problems you've had with it
