is the bellhousing bolt pattern the same on an ax-5 and an ax-15? what about input shafts? same or different? as for t-cases i'm going to a new 231 so it doesn't matter. just need to know the differences between the two tranny input stuff. thanks

AX5 and AX15 are basically the same tranny. AX15 is alot strong er. They are used in ALOT of different apps so the input shafts vary. It all depends on what the tranny came out of. A toyota W56 is the same as an AX15 and a toy W52 is an AX5. I'm not sure if the bellhousings are different but they are removable. You realy need to measure the input shaft and make sure it will work first.
