hey i need to do the whole carb swap thing, someone at bdubs said tehy either had done the mc2100 swap or it had been done on their 258, i think it was CJRashin, if you have done it could you let me know because i really dont' know what I am doing, i've found some write ups but first hadn experience would be a plus.

MC2100 install on a Jeep 258

I have a 304 which came stock with the mc2100. Ive rebuilt it once and been inside it many times... Ive never seen it swapped on a 258 but id be more than happy to help ya. I got a garage real close to campus if you wanna work there

Not that I know of, and I talked to all of the Ford street rod guys here that I knew, and all they had were the bigger ones. I got mine off of eBay and had one of them rebuild it for me.

It's a pretty easy swap, while your in there I'd go ahead and get rid of the duracrap ignition, and replace it with an HEI.

I can also get you some caps for the tubes on the exhaust pipe & cat.

ya I did the HEI about a month ago, that went easy and smooth.... I dont' have a cat on mine, but what do you mean by teh tubes on the exhaust... i'm not following

On my 83 there were air tubes running from the exhaust pipe (right below the manifold) and the cat up to the air cleaner. Yours being a 75 might not have these.

I got a motorcraft 2150 on my 6cyl and an HEI. Let me know when you've got all the parts i'll help to. Its a pretty easy swap. Look for the 2150, its alittle nice than the 2100.

2150 was made for high altitude... whereas the 2100 was normal... pretty much the same thing
